LYRAH - “RUN OUT”

For the rollout of “Run Out,” Lyrah, Debjit Das, and I headed to the far edge of the Southern California desert: the Salton Sea, Bombay Beach, and the Imperial Sand Dunes. We spent one day scouting abandoned gas stations, faded signs, and Bombay Beach’s strange shoreline art, and one day shooting stills and short-form video for the single. Her modern styling against that sun-bleached, left-behind Americana gave the campaign its tension, and the empty landscapes did the rest.
